Feeling guilty. As an 89 year old my generation knew the horrors of measles, polio, TB , etc We lived in dread. Saw school friends, crippled, loose lungs and often die Relieved when at last vaccines were available. Shouldn’t WE be shouting it out loud to protect today’s kids?

BbC4 #Ageism! ON the news TONIGHT an interviewer talking about income in later years said “Unfortunately” we are all old getting older! What is unfortunate about staying alive? Was she implying that old age itself is an unfortunate state to be in. Not an acceptable viewpoint.
