@James1940 Yes! I think what’s fascinating about the history of WW2 is all of the things we assume are facts, but are completely different to what we expected. That’s what’s so great about your podcast - it’s familiar territory but also into the unknown. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@James1940 @WeHaveWaysPod @almurray My father was telling me about how small the U.S. Army was at the beginning of WW2. Because the U.S. really had enough of War after WW1.

@Trewinagency Hi Simon, I sent the required completed submission form to your Agency in November 2024. Will I receive a response even if you’re not interested in my novel?

@almurray @James1940 @WeHaveWaysPod I think it showed really great leadership on Churchill’s part. I feel history of WW2 hasn’t been kind to Chamberlain. Most people think of him as holding that ‘Peace in our time’ flimsy white piece of paper. Which is unfair.

@guywalters I just used AI to create an alternative book cover for my WW2 novel, Love Will Have Its Way. Have to say, it’s pretty good. But I still prefer the original, illustrated by the super talented, Felipe Kroll.
