Finished the Pokemon TCG Indy Regional at 8-6-1 for 193rd place out of 2342 competitors with "Big Gust Energy" Zard, my first regional day 2!
Ended day 1 on a 4-0-1 run after starting 2-2. Went 6-0 in games against the (non-Control) Zard mirror...let's my one Control Zard match.

Happy Pokémon Day!
From taking my then 9 and 7 year olds to an LGS store on a whim, to Regional and Worlds competitions and everything in between, the TCG has been a great hobby to share with my sons…and sometimes even going on my own and whip on the youngs as a 45 year old. :)

I dunno... I think Bolt/Pon is clearly the BDIF, Zard is a horrible play and will be nowhere near the top tables, and Cornerstone Ogre is a totally useless waste of space.

When I was 19, the band I was in got signed. Dropped out of engineering school, toured full time for about 2.5 years, realized there was no future in music…went back to engineering school :)
20+ years later still writing, recording, performing music, but not professionally.
I used to play trumpet and competitive dance! I did dance for 7-8 years, and I still try to keep up trumpet!
