You’re completely missing the point.. you can’t have both sides and justify Alabama and over FSU by saying they weren’t a good team at the beginning of the season with their Texas loss, and then use that same win by Texas to justify Texas being there. You can’t get analytical and look past the conference championship and undefeated record of FSU into the team’s status based on an injury, rule that Alabama is better because of that FSU injury, and then still place Georgia behind them. Yeah, I get that fifth or sixth does not matter, but at the same time it does. It’s just another thing showing that the committee’s decision making here was not on solid ground.

“Screwed” might have been a hyperbole haha but there were some big missed calls, none smaller than the dropped ball on the 4th down that let to a touchdown. But I agree, no team would want to go against UGA in a month, so where is the line drawn with how the committe justified Alabama over FSU, left Texas in, and then left UGA at 6th behind FSU

I agree that it was UGA’s game to lose, and we should’ve have won anyway. But if the committee is going to look past early season losses, and keep an undefeated team out because of an injury, why aren’t UGA’s injuries that will be healthy by playoff time, and the missed dropped ball call that lead to a touch down considered? Not saying all that should be, but where is lien drawn.. can’t wait for next years playoff structure
