I won't disturb the slumber of feelings that have died. If I'd never loved, I never would have cried.

@ThatEricAlper Eddie Money with a then unknown Cyndi Lauper at Avery Fisher Hall in NYC. And in the early 80s I saw a local band called The Smithereens open for The Amazing Bolts (?) at a small club in Sayreville, NJ.

@ClayTravis They've done a "legends of hip hop" show, so why not some kind of legends of country thing with Garth Brooks, Darius Rucker, Dolly Parton, heck, maybe even Willie Nelson? I might actually watch that.

@JoshChavis65 Just so we're clear: Kansas City was a fraud & an illusion all season, propped up by the league & its striped shirted employees. Their games were used to sell pay per view streaming & to overseas markets. Their success was therefore tied to the NFL's bottom line.

@JJWatt Like hell, it did. A) We saw a converted 4th down nullified on the very first drive by a garbage call. B) This supposed "immortal" KC team was plainly exposed. Their record was an illusion created by all the assistance they received all season.

@maxxann @20th_Centurygal Maybe they could do the Super Bowl halftime show next year. I think the NFL needs to change direction away from whatever that was.

@UnconConven @PowellAnalytics At least one of those seemed to be a makeup call for an even worse OPI call on the Eagles' opening drive.

@Super70sSports There's a famous urban legend that he was a mercenary killer for hire in Vietnam. And those sweaters he wore were to cover up his tattoos. "Born To Die", etc. No truth to that, of course. Well, probably none.

@bengaljims_BTR Ah, yes. The 5 downs guy. Who demonstrated beyond any doubt that he shouldn't be doing a Pop Warner game. Yet the NFL rewards him with a Super Bowl assignment.

@20th_Centurygal @Stever_Fl If you're going to get your panties in a bunch as often as you do over perfectly innocuous comments, perhaps it's best that you not solicit opinions.
