I'm so furious that Test & Trace funding is used as an argument for claiming the NHS has had record funding. This money was wasted, and nothing to do with the NHS. The NHS has NOT received record funding if you take that off.
No doubt we are at a tipping point for the future of healthcare in the U.K.
You will hear a lot of misinformation, disinformation, and barefaced lies over the next 18 months - a £200bn/yr industry is on the table.

This is not true. NHS would not have needed to stop the other work if it had not been terribly underfunded leaving it in am awful state.
Also, other patients were seen in all hospitals, it was not covid only.
