Kinda crazy to think a “pro” hockey league doesn’t have 4 referee system for their games.
ECHL Board of Governors has approved utilizing a two-referee system for 50 percent of all regular-season games during the 2024-25 season, an increase from 25 percent which was utilized the previous 2 seasons. Each team will play 18 home games where the two-referee system is used.
