Social distancing is continuing to be our biggest weapon against this virus. Meanwhile I continue to hear reports of overcrowding at NY golf courses. Why? Is golf above the social distancing guidelines? Go for a walk by yourself. This is bigger than sport. Stay home.

Just had an absolute blast playing 3 holes with my oldest I was 7 over par 😬, she played about 1.25 holes, found 3 balls, collected 27 pine cones, but said “I love golfing with you daddy.” That’s what dreams are made of.

It wasn’t nearly the start we wanted at SHCC. My team has done an amazing job of getting our greens back close to peak performance from winter damage. Fresh off back to back tournaments greens are looking poised for the season.

Caught a lot of grief at the show for lack of BBQ pics in the last year. We’re coming in hot today. Had a nice 16# prime brisket on the smoke since 4pm yesterday, just pulled her off and wrapped in butcher paper.

The SHCC team suffered a horrific loss yesterday. Anyone who has stopped by our facility knows were dog folks with several on the team. Leroy was an awesome energetic soul with a motor like no other. He will be missed. RIP Leroy
I must regrettably announce the passing of Leroy. He was tragically hit by a car today & with the injuries he sustained from the accident he had to be put to rest. He was a great dog who loved everyone & he will be incredibly missed by everyone who knew him. I Love you buddy 🐾❤️

Just got word my brother could be going home tomorrow, he was transferred to another hospital in Portsmouth, VA 10 days ago to help out there. He was tested for covid today, if negative, he’ll be on his way home hopefully and stopping for a socially distant brew along the way!
