It’s been a huge honour and privilege to serve Woking and all its residents as your Member of Parliament these past 14 years.
I wish our new Government well and I also wish Will Forster every success over the coming years as our new MP.
Proof positive of the old saying “whose bread I eat, his song I sing”. Surrendering the principle of free speech to buy favour with the CCP is a terrible indictment of some of our universities & Government

Today’s Sunday Telegraph:
Labour claimed the Free Speech Act would allow hateful speech on campus - a complete & utter lie.
If in fact they’ve junked it because of China influence, it would be a shameful betrayal of the academic freedom which has been so integral to our nation.
The fact that hiking the CGT rate will actually cut revenue is now becomingly more widely understood, (although not of course on the far left).
HMRC predicts a £2bn revenue loss from a 10% rate hike, but that does not include revenue loss from other taxes, as growth slows.

. We’ve had riots, a third fold increase in channel migrants, VAT on private schools, union pay hikes agreed and cutting the winter fuel allowance for pensioners which was not in their manifesto. What’s your verdict on Labour’s first 7 weeks ?
Keir Starmer promised to cut household energy bills by £400 if he became Prime Minister.
Now Labour are in government, energy bills will be going up by £149 a year.
Another broken promise from the Prime Minister.
Anyone keeping count?
The average annual UK household energy bill to rise by £149 in October. Surely the government won’t let this happen. Labour promised to cut our fuel bills by £300 a year.
Hey Keir Starmer and Labour MPs, What do you say to Gary who appeared in a video on your online election manifesto page, He was complaining about how he can't heat his home because of fuel costs and is voting Labour for LOWER energy bills? How many other "Gary's" are there?
Context: two years ago Starmer said he had a fully costed plan to freeze energy bills.
Before the election Miliband said Labour policies would save households £300 a year. Now McSweeney has told him to stop saying it.
If he doesn’t cut bills by £300 will he resign?
“Under a Labour government we would freeze energy bills. We wouldn’t allow them to go up.”
~ Keir Starmer
This was false advertising.
Instead, households in Britain will face higher energy bills this winter after Ofgem raised the price cap by 10%.

The Chancellor is still committed to her economic con, regardless of the evidence.
These are tax rises that she has planned right from the beginning, but simply did not have the courage to tell the British public about during the election.
Walking across Westminster Bridge yesterday, I saw a man in the act of pickpocketing a female tourist. I grabbed him and stopped him before he could disappear. Unfortunately, several of his accomplices appeared and began to punch me, kick me and choke me to get me to release
An austerity budget of benefit cuts and tax rises is a bad idea. It will slow the good growth rate they have inherited. They need to bring borrowing down by cutting the huge Bank of England losses and linking public sector pay to productivity.
1. Claim there’s a black hole. 🕳️
2. Create a black hole by giving £billions in ‘no strings attached’ trade union deals. 🤝
3. Use that as justification to increase taxes on hardworking families, employers & investors. 💷
Labour always had a plan… 🥀
