@Dr_KSGautham I'm sure those bugs and staffing will quickly improve with the rapid migration of users to Bluesky. Seemed like exponential growth for the neonatal community over there this past weekend. I'm on both sites currently but surprisingly pleased with Bluesky after only a few days.

@drbretty @PlussTrial Congrats to you and the entire trial team at all sites!! These large trials are always such a massive undertaking, much more than many who have never led one realize. These results will inform neonatal practice and make a real difference for our smallest patients!

@BrianKingNeo @souvik_neo @karelallegaert @EBNEO @IMPaCTrials @CIHR_IHDCYH And the FDA approves drugs without data on improvement in long-term outcomes. PDA meds are a prime example. There should have been effectiveness trials focused on outcomes beyond increased ductal closure prior to approval.

@EBNEO @aap_peds Maybe time to avoid both NSAIDs and acetaminophen for PDA outside of randomized trial settings? No proven benefit, both with potential harm? Maybe the shift from NSAIDs to acetaminophen for a "safer" therapy given minimal supportive evidence was premature?

@BrianKingNeo @ArunSett That is a hard one. Would have to be a superiority study at that point with a large budget. Still would be difficult getting baby down for gold standard test if CT or MRI though, impossible in some cases (emergent imaging or extremely preterm) even if budgeted
