Why is the 16-year-old from out of the country allowed to sign, but a US player has to wait? Why can Sasaki or any other Japanese player in recent years be allowed to sign with whoever they want when US players have to get drafted to a certain team? 0 logic behind it

College baseball will change forever. I’m curious to see how much it changes the draft, though. MLB orgs already stay away from older prospects. Great read here
You may have missed a court ruling last week in a lawsuit between the Vanderbilt quarterback and the NCAA. My phone has been buzzing ever since because coaches and scouts are convinced this will change college baseball, the draft, and the minor leagues.
