For anyone that has struggled to get a GP appointment when they need one - Labour will train more doctors and guarantee face-to-face appointments. By contrast the Tories are turning away straight ‘A’ students from medical schools in the midst of a national shortage of doctors…

An historic win for Labour. This was one of the safest Tory seats in the north. After all their big promises the Tories have once again abandoned the north & voters here are abandoning them. Great to see so many former Con. voters voting Labour for the first time.
