I have spoken to people across High Peak who have given up work because they couldn’t get the childcare they needed or it simply wasn’t worth working after they paid their childcare fees. Affordable childcare within pram-pushing distance is vital if we are to grow our economy.

This is such an important campaign. The loss of the Community Centre would devastate one of the most deprived areas in Derbyshire. The Conservative led council are tin eared and cold hearted. They need to stop these cuts and start working with people like Helen to help us save it.
