I’m in the middle of a divorce where I wanted to stay together to work things out. She put reprobate children over us, and is stuck in a cycle of substance abuse (opioids to alcohol and now it’s marijuana). I was recalled by the Lord and felt His push to be Baptized last year, and immediately following baptism spiritual warfare hit. Vile behavior from our 18 year old daughter that my wife enabled and placed over us, along with her unwillingness to address her addictions that were causing problems in our lives… it sparked major turmoil and she chose to separate and filed for divorce rather than submit to God and start walking with Him to correct our dysfunctional lives. I didn’t want that, but I can’t control anyone else. I wrestled with the meaning and purpose of this for a while. I know God hates divorce. I didn’t want this. But ultimately it’s not in my control. I was abandoned because I said “enough” and was turning my life over to God. She decided to rebel. 1 COR 7 is the only thing I have found that helps makes sense of it. She is not acting like a believer. I do not hve to be enslaved to her rebellion and dysfunction that comes with it. The Lord is working in my life to call me towards peace, I can see it happening.

It’s an entirely different religion. It’s like they don’t care what His Word says at all when it contradicts their “veneration” of Mary. They don’t know who God really is. They’ve put Him in a box and given Mary traits that belong to Him alone. They would rather worship the creature instead of the Creator. It’s sad.
