They have preserved their budget & protected their summer plans — one they believe will substantially improve the options at Mikel Arteta’s disposal. There is still a chance Arsenal get Ollie Watkins over the line, but needs a push from the players side to get moving. Both clubs have their price & rightfully are being stubborn. The few days will likely be how we "pushed" for X player or "opted against" Y player. Then you'll get the news of Sesko and Zubi being the Summer deals. Jorgi, Zinny, KT & Kiwior all leaving. News of Gabriel, Partey & Saka's new deals over the next few months. Don’t be fooled, the club have let Arteta and the fans down this window. (Unless the Watkins move gets pushed through of course).
