Bit of a thread I have done on Scottish expenditure. Very basic but struggling to find out how we are spending Β£13bn more than we are bringing in taxes under the UK union. Have I missed anything obvious in the thread? #Scotland π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ
@UKGovScotland @scotgov Okay, so Β£60bn raised. Β£73bn spent. The Scottish Government spends Β£32bn of that and we know exactly where all that goes. That leaves Β£28bn (Β£5,000 per year per person) for reserved matters within tax income. Can you breakdown exactly where the remaining Β£13bn is spent?

@PJFerguson18 Is this not devolved Patricia? Why don't you speak to the UK Government about properly funding public transport in England and we can maybe get some additional pocket money to spend in Scotland?

@watchingferries @gregorpoynton Hi again Mr Jotter, or is it Mr Ferries? Wind isn't the only renewable, wave, solar, hydro all in abundant supply in Scotland. You then further research how to store that energy (hydro can help with that), so when one of the renewables can't supply, there is energy available.
