We are going to find lots of ways to save money for Granite Staters without reducing services. It's about efficiency and being smarter with your dollars.
New Executive Councilor John Stephen, R-Manchester, asking probing ?s of HHS. Executive Councilor Dave Wheeler, R-Milford: "Welcome to the more inquisitive Executive Council. I love having new councilors (also Councilor Karen Liot Hill, D-Lebanon), at the table." #NHPolitics

It is my great honor to have the privilege of representing Granite Staters in Executive Council district 4. We've got a lot of hard work to do over the next two years to preserve and grow the New Hampshire Advantage. Will be looking to the wise words of Governor Mel Thomson often. "Low taxes are the result of low spending."

New Hampshire has long been admired for its lean and responsive government, and preserving our reputation demands vigilance. We can live within our means without asking more from our constituents to not only preserve, but grow the New Hampshire Advantage.
"Well, on Wednesday, (the asterisk) ends and New Hampshire truly becomes income tax free." -@NHSpeaker on repeal of Income and Dividends Tax, effective tomorrow night at midnight. "When Granite Staters wake up Wednesday morning they'll become the only ones who can say their state is truly income and sales tax free." #NHPolitics

As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support and partnership. Together, we’ve achieved incredible milestones, and none of it would have been possible without you. This season is a time to reflect on the connections we share and the impact we create together. Whether you’ve contributed your time, resources, or encouragement, your generosity has made a difference—and for that, I am deeply thankful. As we look ahead to a new year, we’re inspired by the opportunities to build on our progress and continue making a positive impact. I wish you and your loved ones a season filled with joy, peace, and warmth. May the new year bring health, happiness, and new opportunities for us all. Happy Holidays

As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of District 4. Your votes, civic engagement, and support for the many nonprofits and causes in our community make New Hampshire a truly special place to live and work. Just yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Families in Transition Thanksgiving breakfast. Hearing how their dedicated team helps over 14,000 individuals each year rise from dependence to independence was a powerful reminder of the incredible work happening all around us. While we have so much to be thankful for, we also recognize the challenges many families face. This season, let’s honor the heroes among us—those who give back through their time, resources, and kindness. Wishing you and your family a warm and blessed Thanksgiving.
