@jeffventura @AtoZ_Payton I can’t recall the last 15-2 team to lose their first, and subsequently only playoff game. Remind me who that was again😂😂😂😂😀

@AtoZ_Payton Hahahahahaha. The old hypothetical “we would have won” trick by a team not good enough to even get there in the Super Bowl’s 59 year history. Detroit would be 59-0 if they would have made it to every Super Bowl. Prove me wrong.

@SoEastPa @jasrifootball @diazenlanfl Haha. Good for you, the better team won. No tears here. Stay classy.

Bullshit pal. I watched them both on the field, for years from 2016 on and it was obvious from day one that Merrifield was the better ball player. In 2016 the Royals window was not yet closed, no reason to take a chance on a 21 year old prospect who got hot for 14 games in AAA one summer but was a career .240 hitter in the lower minor leagues. If you think 60 at bats is enough to determine whether someone is a legit MLB prospect then you are the fucking moron. In 2014 Merrifield had a much better stretch in AAA, in 4x as many games. You obviously don’t know shit about the Royals, their farm system, or how it all went down in Kansas City when it comes to Mondessi, Merrifield and Infante. Stick to the Padres smart guy.

You are correct, unlike the rest of the world, by and large America doesn’t really give a rat’s ass about the sports in the rest of the world. Why would we? What’s wrong with being engaged in what’s going on within your own borders? If not for some dick sticking a microphone in someone’s face and asking them a stupid question about a sport obviously he knows and cares nothing about, this wouldn’t even be a conversation.

@the_det_times 59 years of Super Bowl history would disagree. The Lions not playing today surprised me as much as when the sun came up this morning.

Yeah, well they both played for the big club in 2016 and Merrifield was head and shoulders better than Mondessi. As he was every year in the Majors. Don’t give a shit who the better, younger prospect is and how they did for one season in the minors. One was asked to prove his value multiple times at the Major level before given any respect while the other had one good Minor season which carried him through 5 sub par Major league seasons. Not sure why you’re having such a tough time acknowledging Merrifield was better at the Major league level in 2016 and deserved to be ahead of both Infante and Mondessi to start 2017. It turned out to be true. They missed.

@ThirdLegLegette @Marc_wit_a_C @RealMamaEagle So, you’re against giving guys who make a mistake and pay for it a second chance? Then yes, Reid is a terrible person.

@ShrtlessWhitson @TylerOsik I get it, doesn’t make it right. Switch the name on the back of Merrifield and Mondessi’s jerseys and Merrifield would have been in the Majors full time at 25, if not sooner, and Mondessi would have never even made it. Scouts/teams miss, it happens.

@ShrtlessWhitson @TylerOsik As compared to Infante who had an OPS in the 500’s? Please stop. Merrifield was clearly better at the time by every measure.

@investmattallen Return it before the IRS fucks me over and says I owe them the interest for holding their million dollars. Anybody who is familiar with the IRS making mistakes knows they will bend you over afterwards and it’s futile to fight them.

@Marc_wit_a_C @RealMamaEagle Yeah, except for when he was the coach of the Eagles and you all loved him.

Yeah, he broke out at age 25 yet still didn’t get a shot at the majors until he was 27 (spent the entire next season in the minors). When he did make it and hit .283 in the majors over 81 games (while being sent down during that season and being recalled late), the organization did not believe in him and stayed with Infante and Mondessi to start the next season. It was stupid, they missed.
