Sanogo is 18 and 10 in g league. Jackson essentially a starter and rotation player in Milwaukee and Hawkins is top 3 in rookie of the year. Maybe they were best team last year.

Espn shows why it’s college hoops struggles. Halftime of UConn-Texas, at msg, and it is talking about everything but the game. Who is the audience? People watching Texas-UConn game? This strategy makes no sense.

For all those who are laughing at UConn FB….there is a job opening at a top 25 public university with a 40k seat stadium, top shelf facilities that pays $1M or more per year. They are gonna get a ton of interest in that job.

I do hate whining about refs and I don’t see anything blatant. But considering Jeff Goodman’s comments the other day that refs he talked to are sick of Hurley, and then seeing the FT disparity of last two games, are we just gonna ignore this?.

Opinions here. Is the Kemba step back the most iconic college hoops shot of last 20 plus years? Even the Nova title winning shot doesn’t get a boost. Literally been a decade I see the shot every couple of months out there.

The northeast region of the US usually doesn't produce a ton of MLB players but @UConnBSB seems to be the exception. The Huskies have 8 players around the league on the 60-man rosters, ahead of schools like FSU, USC, & OK State. See the Full List ⬇️ .

Plenty of talk about the game on field for UConn Saturday. Went with family, the experience was terrific. Beautiful day, fun game. i think fans are missing out. A lot of fun.

I don’t think I have ever seen a more desperate crowd then tonight. I called it angry, but that is probably misplaced. They were desperate tonight. Fanbase wanted the win more than I have ever seen. I been to some big games too, but never felt that vibe like tonight.

Excellent effort by UConn and Cincy. Refs have to be better. It isn’t 1-2 calls, it just seems they control the game way too much. It’s like they are the directors and the players are puppets. The whistles make these games unwatchable.

I don’t know if Andre Jackson can score 10 ppg (does he even want to?) but I am not sure Hurley can keep him off the floor. Jackson plays at a different speed than everyone else. His playmaking is best on the team by far. Most unusual UConn player I have ever watched.

I am thinking we should re-adjust expectations for UConn. We assumed it was combo of roster/coach/style. But I am thinking it was more coach and style than players. And, to be honest, just style. Run, play D, get easy baskets. Look like an ncaa caliber team to me.

I gotta admit. Fox sports tv coverage is outstanding for big east. Just got 2 minutes of UConn on the bubble. Then we have state and Illinois recap. Really focusing on the games, not some national angle that is unrelated.

Did anyone have a monster game for UConn? It was a quiet triple double, he just played within himself. No one played out if their minds. The team has so many weapons. Really a good team.
