So thrilled for Pascal. How lovely this is all happening for him in the twilight of his career. He’s obviously such a popular guy with his team mates too. Wish he could stay in Brighton!
Can’t help but be happy for the guy. First goal for his country is like that, vintage, and the winner.
Going to be a proud moment for him and us to see him start the Euros opener. Arguably, like with Dunk, his international recognition is long overdue.

Best out because De Zerbi has created such a terrific ‘family’ spirit among this group we do not want anyone projecting negative energy into the group. De Zerbi handles everything perfectly. Players will never ever be allowed to think their own personal interested come first. 👍

I agree and it’s the most insidious form of cheating as it is praying on those genuinely trying to care for true head injuries. I believe it could be stamped out by making anyone concerned they’ve a head injury leave the field for a professional check up for a minimum of 10 mins!

Also, we’re already planning for next season by completing the signing of Ibrahim Osman today. That’s smart planning ahead. A few big clubs were after him in the summer but we got him!
I guess their argument is we should have bought more first team ready wingers in, but they’d have to be happy to not play whilst we had:
Mitoma, March, Adingra, Facundo, Pedro, Fati, Enciso all in the squad.

Very sad to learn of Gerry’s passing. We were there the night at Selhurst Park when his career was so sadly cut short by a horrific injury. He faced his future with the same courage in which he played the game. Became such a popular landlord at The Witch Inn. RIP Gerry🙏
This is so sad. Gerry was a fine footballer, a great team mate & a wonderful person. Along with most of his team mates from the 1983 FA Cup Final I spoke with Gerry on Friday 19th May, on a link to Ireland, as we gathered in Brighton to celebrate 40 years after that final 🙏🏻

What I love about our club right now is that, for the first time in a long time, everyone knows who the boss is - RDZ is clearly the boss getting complete backing from Tony, Paul and David and the whole Board. So important that the players see that. Makes a huge difference!👍

If that’s true I think it shows a flaw in TB’s personality. Every manager, even the great SAF, make mistakes but surely if you are a good leader you overlook mistakes and look at the bigger picture. I like to think TB has more intelligence than that.

It’s irrelevant! When you have a gift it works wherever you go. Nothing to do with ‘levels’. These young prodigies are far ‘older’ than their chronological age. I say ‘bring him on’. He must have de Zerbi type ‘big balls’ to take on coaching players 5,6 and 7 years his senior!

Absolutely! ‘The past has gone - it can touch us not’ needs to be a mantra everyone in the club, and the fans, learns to say at all times.

Let’s hear the ‘truth’ from both parties as it might be different. All I do know for certain is that both Pep Guardiola and Adam Lallana who know him and worked closely with him called him a ‘genius’ and Lallana urged the club to keep hold of him. I trust their knowledge most!
