WR Marquis Johnson struggled with his behavior, emotions and academics as a sophomore at Dickinson High School.
Behind the struggles was a kid searching for confidence.
The story on the guidance that inspired his transformation:
Aaron Jones on

passing 3rd & 2, 4th & 2 nearing one minute left at the 6-yard line down a touchdown.
"I'd put my money on giving me or AJ Dillon two downs to get two yards, I'd put my money on it."
Can’t stop thinking about this unbelievable, meaningful photo from Olivia Myska of the Columbia Missourian.
Eddie Kelly’s mother passed away earlier this week. The Mizzou defense dedicated the game to him and his family. Looks like Kelly has so a message on his towel too.
Packers fans: I'm begging you to separate your feelings about Aaron Rodgers' legacy from your evaluation of his current abilities. You can still appreciate everything that he has done for this franchise while also evaluating his skills on a year-to-year basis.
Packers Stars Under 30:
Davante Adams (28)
MVS (26)
Robert Tonyan (26)
Elgton Jenkins (25)
David Bahktiari (29)
Kenny Clark (25)!
Rashaan Gary (23)

Darnell Savage (23)
TIM BOYLE (26)
Future is bright.
With Aaron Jones, I thought the Packers were losing, more than anything else, a positive voice in the locker room and an impactful voice in the community. Great to see that Jacobs recognizes the importance of the latter

running back Josh Jacobs was in Milwaukee today for Huddle Up for Home Fire Prevention and Safety.
Afterward, we talked about fire safety, why it's important to give back and the team's championship outlook. ⬇️
Things I am rooting for today:
- Preston gets his money
- Davante breaks record
- Aaron breaks 4,000 mark
- Jordan Love lights it up in the 2nd half
- NO ONE GETS HURT
Somebody sell me on why the Packers should go with a 39 year old QB with maybe 2-3 good years left in him when the alternative is draft capitol, cap relief, and a 24 year old who may or may not work out and seems to be willing to play within the offensive system. I don't get it.
The Rams and Packers were the two most appealing teams to Odell Beckham Jr. during the standout WR’s recent free agency, but Green Bay wouldn’t offer more than veteran minimum:

fans are going to absolutely love Ty’Ron Hopper. Loves ball and has high football IQ. Exciting project with some great athleticism. Needs to improve vision but great tackler and a personality you want on your team. Congratulations to Ty’Ron.
The 37 seconds, the 5 missed field goals, the "I still own you", the Rasaul Douglas game have all happened in just one half of a season. What a memorable first 8 games
I now have a personal vendetta against Broncos fans and hope they are extremely let down when Aaron Rodgers is not their QB. Best of luck to Hack though
According to Jets fans, Aaron Rodgers is going to lead them to two straight Super Bowls, but is simultaneously not worth the 13th overall pick. Make it make sense.
The idea that David Bahktiari is suddenly washed because it took him a slightly longer than average time to recover from an ACL injury is so bizarre to me.
My goal in life is to live in Green Bay, get Uncle Mike's for breakfast every day, hang out in the Lambeau Field atrium as my day job, and then hit up Stadium View for Dinner.
What college degree do I need for this
The Packers had a team that could’ve, and should have made the Super Bowl. Just because they made mistakes in their biggest game doesn’t mean they did not build a good enough team around Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers are going to keep getting crossers until they stop playing so much off coverage. Eric Stokes runs a 4.2. Reroute someone this season
@packers
I honestly would not mind Randall Cobb back with the
#Packers
if it is on a new, or restructed deal. Filled the slot receiver hole pretty well WHEN he was healthy, but that wasn't too often unfortunately. And mainly because I let the emotional side of being a fan get to me.
Either the
#Packers
design team was feeling creative, or they are teasing that the team will be bringing back the all-white color rush jerseys this Thursday 👀👀👀
It’s going to be awesome when Packers win MVP, COTY, EOTY, Walter Payton MOTY, and Leroy Butler gets into the hall of fame 3 days before they win the Super Bowl
There isn't many. But you have to feel good about the few players who are in the Packers long term plans:
- David Bahktiari
- Josh Myers
- Rashaan Gary
- Kenny Clark
- Jaire Alexander
The Packers twitter reaction is the same thing every year.
- Twitter decides on the player they HAVE to pick and groupthink causes people to have tunnel vision
- Any other player that is not THE guy is deemed as a failure.
Rinse, Recycle, Repeat.
Wow! 3 greats Quarterbacks playing today! Wonder if they’ll actually come through for their team or if they’ll only target 2 players, and play hero ball on the most important play of the game. We shall see!
mason crosby’s time with the packers comes to an expected, unofficial end after 16 seasons. he finishes as the franchise’s all-time leading scorer and the sole owner of most consecutive games played for the team -- he’s been the kicker since a lot of us were just kids.
Mitch Trubisky getting another opportunity and being a star, proving that the Bears are incompetent when it comes to QBs is the story arc I'm here for.
A NFL GM called
#Mizzou
was a very well-coached program that he felt confident drafting from.
Javon Foster says scouts talked to the team’s coaches and realized their ability to develop talent.
How the NFL Draft showed the momentum Mizzou is building:
My brother once got me to get a job at his work and then he quit like a month later so I really empathize with how Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard must feel right now.
Jets are actively working to reach an agreement with Packers’ free-agent WR Allen Lazard, per league sources. There is another team involved, and no final decision, but the Jets are trying to reunite Lazard and OC Nathaniel Hackett.
If your going to say something like "Well, two is great, but we should have atleast 4 by now with Rodgers" after we win the Super Bowl, please let me know below so I can mute you.
