Yesterday here in Finance was such a blurry day. If I happen to get written up because of the craziness...my bad. It wasn't personal. But I mean...at least someone legit for real prayed for us in my office.🫠 I can admit that working under pressure is NOT one of my many talents.

Finally got antibiotics yesterday. I’ve been sick since mid-December. I’m already feeling a bit better today. I’ll never take it for granted being able to breathe through my nose ever again.

Day 6 of being miserable. I’m thinking it’s bronchitis. But, I got a lot of holiday baking done. Most of what I made shouldn’t get anyone sick because a lot of it needed heat to make. I mean, I hope. They know I’m sick. That’s on them taking chances on peanut brittle & cookies.🥴

Watching Home Alone. Alone. Also, wondering if it’s really gonna storm because wth am I suppose to do all day if it storms bad enough to where they call off work? I like being home, but I don’t like when I HAVE to be home…if that makes sense.

A word that I wish people would have quit using two years ago was “Facts” when they agree with something. Sooo annoying. 🙄

Also, I have two extra Birria bombs if someone wants them. Use with caution and open up those windows. You’ll know what I mean when you start frying them. 😷

When you’re trying to be cheap and don’t wanna spend $85.50 on the Pottery Barn ghost and find one for $12.00. 😒

My bucket list has grown. I’ve added “just trying to get through every work day without having a mental breakdown” to it. I mean, I still wanna travel & see new places. All that jazz. But my bucket list has an addendum and probs a few disclaimers now. I’m just being realistic.

Working in Tribal Finance between October 1-October 31 always seems like such a blur. I’m all: Is this real? Am I sick? Is it terminal? If I snap back just this one time, will I get fired? 😵‍💫 And, then…just like that, it’s November 1 and I’m still employed. Every year. 😅

I miss Summer and it isn’t even Fall yet. 😢 I do love Fall, though. It’s my fave. Just wish the leaves would stay on the trees and not fall off.

I’ve had a small outdoor rug in my cart that was $9.99 two weeks ago. Today, it’s $9.59, but the “list price” crossed out is $19.99. 👀 I’m on to you Amazon Prime Days. 😒

Some days…I wish that I could just stay home and be a stay-at-home mommy and still be able to afford all of my bills. I’d bake all day long and play outside. I mean, I realize one needs a child to do that, but do we really? I have a cat who I consider my child. 🤔

Anyone else's #StudentLoans balance go up tremendously and you haven't been in school for years and you have no idea why the balance went up tremendously because you've never missed a payment? Yes? No? Just me? Oh. I'm so fucking frustrated. Like, fucking why?!?

My student loans keep changing to different student loan servicers every couple of years. I wish I can change my student loans to 0% interest like how easily and without any notice student loan servicers make changes. 😒

Listen...I like pretzels and I like mustard. But...I will never see what's so appealing about pouring mustard on a fresh pretzel and eating it. Like...why, though? Especially when nacho cheese or cream cheese frosting exists.
