We now live in a country where something that has never been taxed is now called a tax break. The UK; highest levels of tax, crumbling public services, absent and inadequate infrastructure. The UK under Labour; closed for business and we’ll all be poorer for it.

Thank you Andrew for your dedication and leadership over the many years of selfless service you have given to our Party. Your vision and message chimed with our membership and you are right to highlight that without our membership we cease to be a Party.

Despite having the power to reverse disastrous 20mph speed limits Cardiff Labour have again doubled down and supported this insane policy. Despite Labour criticism, I won’t apologise for doing my job and standing up for hardworking residents and organisations across Cardiff.

Jane was a hardworking and committed councillor who represented her community and City with distinction. I’ll remember our chats (and frequent political disagreements) with fondnesses. Thoughts and prayers are with Jane’s family and friends at this acutely sad time.

Labour’s shameful decision to scrap Winter Fuel Payments shows they have the wrong priorities. Welsh Conservatives will always support our pensioners who should never have to choose between eating and heating.

If it wasn’t enough robbing pensioners of their hard-earned winter fuel payment they now set their sights on hiking taxes for working people. The Labour Party are the enemy of anybody who has worked hard, earnt a bit of money and wants to provide for their family.

Devolution under Labour has been a disaster and Wales has gone into reverse since the establishment of the Senedd. If there was a vote to abolish the Senedd I’d be joining the overwhelming majority of Party members and increasing numbers of the public in voting to abolish.

Using the truly horrific events in Southport as a smoke screen for such criminality is abhorrent. These aren’t ’protesters’. These are rioters and must face the full force of the law, as should anyone who engages in behaviour of this kind.

After 10 years of waiting Cardiff now has a new bus station; with only a fraction of the capacity as the previous bus station. Iniquitous for Labour politicians to tell us to get out of our cars, propose congestion charges, yet fail to offer adequate alternatives.

Back in the Chamber fighting against Cardiff Labour’s planned parking charges. Residents pay enough as it is! Politicians should be making it as easy as possible for residents to support our local businesses; that’s what I’m focused on delivering.

I can’t help but question whether a contributing factor to Vaughan’s downfall was the fact his own colleagues could not accept he won. There were errors of judgment, no laws were broken; it should have been the public who decided Vaughan’s fate as FM not disgruntled Labour MSs.
