Years ago, I was battling to board a train with a pram & a man in his 50s helped. Later I realised he was homeless. Over the years I’ve tried to help him get into a flat, always thwarted by bureaucracy. Today I hear he’s died. His deterioration was visible. I’m upset & livid.
