@HappyUncleSam @sjs856 Fluoride is an industrial byproduct of the production of aluminum, fertilizer, and iron ore. It can also be a byproduct of the production of glass, brick, tile, and plastics.

@sjs856 @PowderBlueDrew 27 studies reviewed by experts from the US and China each weighed on their own merits and drawbacks and the result is that fluoride is toxic to humans. I don't care about exposure levels determined by a corrupt govt. I'm not giving it to my child, why is this hard to understand?

@sjs856 Good one, but unfortunately this issue has been studied extensively by the Chinese and Indian governments. The effect on your teeth is minimal, it is a completely non-essential nutrient and in large enough quantities it can lower the IQ of children. Read the Harvard meta-analysis
