Excited to announce my commitment to the admissions process to further my academic and athletic career at Princeton University! I would like to thank my family, coaches, teammates, friends, and teachers for helping me make this possible. Go Tigers!🐅
Had a great time at the Yale baseball prospect camp this past weekend. I was really impressed with campus tour, the coaches, the camp, and the pizza in New Haven. 😊 Thank you for the opportunity to compete.
Marist is having a great season so far, with an 18-1 record! I’m primarily playing 3rd, pitching, and occasionally catching. So far I’ve pitched 13.1 innings throwing just over 70% strikes. Looking forward to the rest of the season with my teammates! Go War Eagles!
Great weekend for the 16U Cougs, winning the tournament! Started the Championship, going 5 IP allowing 3 H, 1 BB, 0 ER, and 10 Ks. Also hit my first home run of the Summer in the same game! Can’t wait to keep things rolling into the Summer!
Super excited that Summer ball is underway! Came in relief on Saturday to pitch 5.0 innings allowing 0 hits, 0 runs, 1BB, and 6Ks on 65 pitches. In 3 appearances in the HS playoffs, I threw 7.2 innings with 2 hits, 0 runs, 1BB, and 8Ks on 98 pitches with a .091 BAA and .391 WHIP.
Great 1st Round sweep for Marist! The team fought hard in two great games. Played 3rd and pitched in relief in game 1, going 3 inn w/4Ks allowing no runs, 2 hits, and no walks. Threw 32 strikes in 43 pitches. Caught game 2 and had some decent ABs. On to round 2 on Wednesday, GWE!
Love this team! Marist finished 29-7 in Georgia 6A. In 122 PAs my slash line was .355/.488/.473. Started at 3rd and Catcher. Pitched 26 inn (WHIP 0.88, 31K’s, 6 BBs, BAA .181, ~ 70% strikes). Really going to miss this team. Looking forward to the 643 16u Cougars this Summer!
Joe Montembeau (‘25 GA) follows it up with a 💣 of his own, this one was crushed to RF. Good leverage & EZ to project more strength, seems to be tapping into it already.

Good wins for the 16U Cougs in our first two games of the 17U WWBA. I threw four scoreless innings in relief yesterday with the help of great defense. Overall, 4IP, 6Ks, 1 hit, 0 runs, 0 walks, and 70% strikes. Looking forward to the rest of this last tournament.
Joe Montembeau (‘25, GA) juices one over the RF’s head for a 2B. Consis performer, really nice job creating extension & optimal launch angle to get this in the air
