Illustrator/author. I create art for toys & video games. I write books that I like. If other people like them, that's ok with me. If they don't that's ok, too.

Human existence is really quite easy to explain. One day...like a spark, you're here Next...you get through the day. Some do it better than others. And then...it ends. Simple really.

@PulpLibrarian Excellent movie. The story of the making of the movie and it's director is just as good.

@PulpLibrarian Both of these are surprisingly pretty good 70s films. The originals noirs are still better, but Mitchum did a good job.

@poppygibsonuk 70s? More like 60s. AI needs some history lessons.

"Mail me a postcard when you get there!” I remember saying that a few times. I remember hearing that even more times! Today, the postcard is a fading artifact of the past. You can still find them in souvenir stands, but like the buffalo that once roamed the plains, they are a dying breed. The better ones, the funnier ones were saved and cherished. Most of the time they were never mailed. They were bought, tossed in a suitcase, and brought home. My parents, grandparents… they saved these, as did many other people. Some of the most frequently-saved postcards came from one man – Bob Petley “The Cowboy Cartoonist,” “The King of Postcards,” the man who put the jackalope in your mailbox. Full article here:

🖍️ Hard to believe it's been over six years since I made the Crayola coloring book, Lyrics by Lennon & McCartney. It was the most fun I've had working on a commissioned book. It's also the highlight of my career. I wasn't allowed to use any actual likenesses or trademarked images other than the lyrics themselves. There was to be more books in this series, but sadly, that didn't happen. I would love to have created a Queen or Bob Dylan coloring book. You can see more of this book on my blog: #Beatles

@BookSpotlight For your promotional social media posts, put together a short version of the interview and a link to the full interview. Better on places like FaceBook for length. Intro, best question/answer, then link.

@PulpLibrarian Wish I had known of this book when I was in high school in the 1980s. I was kicked out of class for making BEATLES art during my computer programming class. Story here:

@chrishlad A blanket statement on remote work being "poison" is so wrong. It depends upon the job and the person. I think the old SATURDAY EVENING POST should have REQUIRED Norman Rockwell to commute to the office, sit in a cube and create his paintings. Asinine!
