This morning I have been out with Steve Radford delivering Bexley Meat hampers to some neighbours in Tuebrook Breckside Park. In addition, we have been out door knocking with our latest skips in Alton Road, Clifton Road and Somerset Place/Radnor Place. Whilst out I have reported numerous dumping opposite 1A Alton Road, Radnor Place and a major health and safety concern on the alleyway of Sunlight Street/Dominion Street. I have asked the Council to make this an urgent case for removal. Pleased to see the gully has been fully repaired by 1A Alton Road, and also making the gate more secure so people don’t go into the car park area. This is my ward and we have been chasing up with the legal and highways department about this, how condescending Billy, thought you were better than that. There’s many times we have done good work in the area and it’s been labelled as Anfield, which I don’t complain about. I have emailed you about an idea with Anfield Councillors and myself could work on a project together, not everything is politically motivated pal 👍

Thank you to all the neighbours that utilised the community skip today at Alton Road & Dorset Road/Chester Road Apologies for any inconvenience this morning due to the delay of skips getting delivered, this was out of our control. I did inform LSSL neighbours were still waiting for the skip around 9am this morning.

Earlier this morning I allocated £1,000 to Anfield Sports & Community Centre. This is to fund half term activities, including hot/cold food during the February half term for children who may be in need of support.

I don’t know the answer, but my assumption would be the pipe work and control room is in a bad situation and will need new equipment, which most likely would exceed the budget they had for Peter Lloyd. They will probably have to go back to cabinet and ask for more funding to get these repairs done. Harry will be able to tell you more but I think this is what’s happening
