There are people who do not have any deep yearning for Amitābhabuddha in their hearts, but only pray for happiness after death, and I think they are poor believers. Amitābhabuddha is present in front of our eyes as we chant "Namu Amida Butsu."

Kugai Yamamoto, Jodo Shu Monk. At the young age of 18, he accomplished Nenbutsu Samadhi and saw Buddha in front of his eyes. Afterwards, he suffered various hardships, including being exposed to an American atomic bomb in Hiroshima, but he overcame them by practicing Nenbutsu.
Even if I am to become a Buddha, I will not become a Buddha if there are people suffering in hell, hungry ghosts, and beasts in my country.

Don't act like a wise man, just do the nembutsu at all.

Amida Buddha's face is extremely majestic and like the brightness of a flame, and there is nothing that can match it. The sun, the moon, and the brilliance of precious stones are hidden in the Tathagata's light and become like charcoal.

Even those without faith have something to rely on. They are still alive because of it. But they can't keep on relying on it forever.

Please be careful of this. A common obstacle in studying Buddhism is that one becomes convinced that only what one has learned is valid, and begins to insult those of other doctrines. To prevent this, reduce the amount of studying and increase the amount of practicing seriously.
As long as you think you're a good person, you won't appreciate your parent (Amida Buddha).
