has respectfully quit her job at the commissary. After one year and a week, she is ready to focus on higher education, legal stuff and, of course, her art.

has refused every single interview request that she has received in the last several years, yet the media still finds excuses to keep talking about her. Obsessed much?
Jodi appreciates the piles of birthday mail she received. She's unsure if she'll be able to respond to it all, but she's grateful so many people remembered her on her birthday.
This morning a big bus came to Lumley Unit and collected a bunch of inmates and took them to Santa Cruz Unit, then picked up a bunch of medium custody inmates and deposited them at Lumley. Jodi stayed on Lumley and kept her job at the library.
Jodi has worked diligently these last five years to pay down approximately $10k of the restitution she owed. The remainder of that burden has now been lifted from her shoulders thanks to an angel donor, saving Jodi from years of continued tiny payments.
Jodi is now fully vaccinated along with all inmates at Perryville who chose to be. The National Guard returned this week with second doses. (Thank you, Mr. President.)
An officer working at Perryville Prison has tested positive for Covid-19. Since the virus is so highly contagious, it's likely this officer already transmitted it to the inmate population before realizing they were infected.
Someone on Jodi's yard started a fire on graveyard shift doing who-knows-what. Jodi's entire wing was evacuated. They all stood around in their PJs for a while till staff ensured it was safe for everyone to return to their rooms. All is well.

is reading INTO THE FOREST by Jean Hegland, a book she started when she was 17, abandoned about 1/3 of the way into, and found again recently at the library in which she works.

! You have kept me relevant for years beyond what was probable. Without you, I would have long ago faded into obscurity. In an ironic way, I'm grateful for you. <3" --

"My roommate wanted to known what sardines taste like so I gave her a piece from my lunch. She popped it in her mouth, gagged, spit it into her hand, and chucked it at a palm tree. I laughed, but all I could say was, 'You wasted it!'" --

In other, better news, Juan Martinez was finally fired after numerous sexual harassment allegations. I wonder if Harvey Weinstein needs a cellmate.

Lumley Unit at Perryville hosted the Cancer Walk yesterday. When they did the raffle Jodi won 19 times! Collectively, inmates and staff raised over $5,000 for the American Cancer Society.

is suing Nurmi for his flagrant violations of attorney/client privilege. He made millions off her name and if she wins and collects, the first people she intends to pay are the Alexander family. Restitution FIRST.
Lumley Unit is out of ice AGAIN. There's no ice that inmates pay for nor is there any ice in the water jug that provides cold water for the inmate population. The rooms temp at 90 degrees right now, and the high today is about 115.
Jodi was tested for COVID again this morning. The majority of the inmate population at Perryville is being tested this week. That's a lot of violated nostrils. LOL
Jodi's restitution was paid in full 9 days ago on 10/16 (approximately $23k). That's the date a generous donor's check cleared. Wonder how long Arizona will take to distribute that money to the recipients?
Due to poor management and lack of foresight from administrative staff, Lumley Unit goes another summer day in the Sonora desert without ice (or A/C) for inmates in the care and custody of the Arizona Dept. of Corrections.
Some idiot keeps making noncredible threats to break Jodi out of Perryville, but as a precaution she was moved to a more secure location -- with air conditioning.
