Great chats with pupils today finding out what they are proud of/what helps them learn-at the end of the day one of them found me said he really enjoyed my compliment-he was very deserving of and very welcome to my compliment!Giving time makes a huge difference to some children!

What a day- using a really down to earth, common sense approach to solving some learning and behaviour puzzles! Leaders are excited to try out some simple strategies to solve complex issues! Hoorah!

Caught up with those young geologists again today! One remembered the date I said I would be in & brought some of his own specimens!! We had a good look- I’m going to have to take it up a notch next time! I know what I will be bringing - just need to do some extra weight lifting!

@Headteacherchat Singing is such as great way to learn language and sentence structures doesn’t need much adaptation- the other classroom staple that I mourn the loss of is big books! I loved using them to teach reading!

Oh man- I went to the gym and got chatting to an older chap on the exercise bikes - said he was trying to get himself out of the house- had sepsis 3 times, had bowel cancer and lost his wife last year- 86 years old! What a guy! Makes you think!!
