Derek Carr is a decent, established NFL starting quarterback and Kenny Pickett outplayed and beat him in terrible conditions. Why is he already expected to be prime Ben in his 10th game? He’s doing alright.

Joe Lunardi really taking this one to the grave, and I commend him for it. He’s staying loyal to his shtick. He doesn’t watch basketball, he looks at numbers. This game is a good example that you should watch basketball to dictate who should be in a basketball tournament.
It’s generally unfair to judge the Committee or a team on a single game after the fact, but UVa was a poor choice then and now. I would have taken Indiana State or one of the Big East bubble teams. Right or wrong, Pitt never had a shot with that schedule.
