119-111 Kings win in New Orleans, even though the Pelicans scored 186 points in the paint. Same teams tomorrow night. I hope Keegan Murray shows up for the rematch.

The San Francisco Giants and The Athletics, now playing in Sacramento, both reported for spring training today, and this is also the first day of practice for the Daytona 500. It's time for sports fans switch focus a little bit.

Two of the greatest football coaches and genuine great people I have met in my media years in John Volek and Max Miller, giants in impact, personality and story telling. The @SierraCollegeFB alums were on hand to toast the first game of the school’s fantastic new gymnasium.

Kings gotta run something for him early in the second half.
Keegan Murray is the only Kings player who played in the 1st half that didn’t score. He took zero FGAs in 15:16 minutes of action. Gotta find a way to get him some looks.

FOX paid tribute to one of their guys who has run a handheld camera for a longtime, calling him the best. I'm sure the guy is really good, but no better than Robert Beland who shot games for me, then went to CBS. He was great!

Im still getting used to the time difference between California and Texas. It's the worst for sports events. I'm been waiting all day for the Super Bowl!

I covered two Super Bowls in New Orleans, and, in my opinion it's the perfect SB city. Everything is close, fans all go to Bourbon Street, Superdome is good. I had a blast at both places!
