Neither do I think Farage is the man needed, but if they get enough support to get a working majority, there might be MP's strong enough, of the ilk of Rupert Lowe and Lee Anderson to take on the civil service and knock them into shape. Unless they're voted in we'll never know, will we..??

Apart from Lee Anderson who has experience at both levels, including. Govt office, nobody in Reform has any experience in UK politics or how the system works until they walked through the door last July. Having complete newcomers to politics running Govt depts would be like having patients running the hospital.

No. Through the ages, this nation has had good monarchs and bad. We've had strong monarchs, and we've had weak. It just so happens that at this time, we have a bad and weak monarch, but time moves on, and it will change around once more. Don't forget, republicism was tried once before, and look what happened. It tore our country apart. Brother against brother. We should stick with what we've got and let history show the story of Charles III and his reign..!!

On some respects, I agree with what you are saying, but don't forget Reform is a brand new party with few people with any knowledge of local or parliamentary politics. I don't like the defectors who are moving over just to keep their gravy train payments going, but like with DEI appointments, who do you choose. Someone who has no experience of how to run a department of any kind or someone who has 10+ years of experience and who now sees the light..??
