This statement has two interpretations pertaining to Akainus strength. 1. Either he completes his goal (can beat any pirate).2. Completes Luffys goal (can beat any yonko or admiral). Akainu has the best narrative and statements in the verse. Truly Top 1

Luffy unironically has no scaling to Kizaru. His only “feats” have context. 1. Can’t prove clones scale to Kizzaru. 2. Can’t prove Kizaru was going FP. 3. Kizaru is reflecting Luffys strikes based off Luffys hand positions. 4. Luffy needed Kizarus laser to do this attack

As I’ve been saying, King is above Yamato. Oda told us in the Vivre Cards.

Seeing far too many people say the opposite 😭 . Luffy is canonically stated to be equal to Old Rayleigh and has similar feats to him, he gets washed by Prime Rayleigh.

Garp would still beat Luffy.

After going back and forth, I solidified my position on this topic. Akainu definitely beats Shanks.

This would mean Zoro > G2 Luffy > Yamato. jigglystar1 on discord for contentions.

Zoro would get at least 4 amps being: More stamina, more health, ACoC and a stronger technique. Zoro getting more amps would likely put him above Yamato.

Luffy would then get 1 arguably 2 amps past this moment to put him above Yamato. Being ACoC and potential ACoC refinement.

Zoro managed to defeat this form of Kaido in Chapter 1010. This would mean RT Zoro > RT Luffy.

All forms of Luffy on the rooftop were repeatedly getting beat on by Kaido (Pre ACoC)

First we establish ACoC G2 Luffy > Yamato. Kaido says it to us and Luffy just outperforms her against Thunder Bagua

Explaining this take and why I have it using my Wano Zoro scaling.

Zoro would destroy Yamato in a 1v1. Yamato doesn’t even clear Base Luffy.

Current tierlist

Gaban > Base Elbaph Luffy ~ Egghead G5 >= Wano G5 ~ Kaido.

So we’ve got a situation where Luffy cliffed himself throughout Egghead (we see this with other evidence in the arc with Saturn) so his current Base Self should be relative or above his previous G5 self. Gaban > Kaido any day man, and Gaban is a Rayleigh rival so Kizaru upscale.
