It’s basic physics, you can’t generate as much force into the ball if your front side is loose/weak/unstable

I’m not sure what your comment on “power v” has to do with lower body mechanics unless you’re just saying that what happens after contact is a result of what happens before

When Lo Cain was in juco, he would do more before 8 AM than 99% of the players in the country would do all day. He would lift, run, hit and throw before most kids were out of bed. Yes, he did it, every day. He refused to be denied. He earned it. He was all in. Started playing in 10th grade and ended up playing 10 years in the big leagues.
