One of the best things about bell ringing is the out of hours access it can give you to some of the countries most impressive buildings. Last night, I was delighted to be able to ring at the beautiful @TruroCathedral .

Issues at Charlton Lane crossing tonight. Sorry for any inconvenience. The experience of driving in disruption, and being talked past signals at danger was invaluable for my trainee though. All pics taken from the train we were travelling on.

Engineering works have closed Charing X, Waterloo E and Cannon St, so my day has been filled with Sidcup line trains to Victoria, and London Bridge terminators. It's fabulous practice on days like this for my trainee to do these odd workings, as he nears the end of his training.

Today marks 13 years since we brought my dear son home from his foster family to his forever home. Happy family day, big man. Love you to the moon! #adoption

My beautiful daughter used to have massive sensory overload when having her toenails cut. It took 2 of us to hold her and cut them when they grew dangerously long. Tonight, she came in from school and asked for them to be cut. 2 mins later....voila! #proudautismparent
