Year 5 had a fantastic visit to @Marwellwildlife to launch to their Destination South America topic. They were a credit to the school and were able to learn all about tropical environments, animals and habitats.

Have you heard about our new Tonieboxes? We have bought 4 new boxes to use throughout school to allow children to listen to their favourite stories in class and continue to increase our promotion of reading for pleasure. Reading is at the heart of our curriculum! @tonies_UK

We have had a brilliant day celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III! The children took part in lots of Coronation activities, had fish and chips and took part in our sponsored bounce!

Yesterday, our Year 5 and 6 Student Leadership Team represented Jewell Academy at the annual Aspirations Student Voice Conference hosted this year by Atlantic Academy Portland. Well done to all who took part in this fantastic event!

Stage one of our new @JewellAAT Sensory Garden is now complete thanks to the help of our brilliant parent volunteer and children! We are hoping to have this amazing new garden area ready by the Summer term for all our children to enjoy.

Year one were greeted with an unusual event yesterday morning and have been asking questions and making predictions all about their new topic. The children are really excited to solve the mystery and help the toys find their way back home, to where they belong!
