I dont believe you, because Ive seen it. Pasta is basically just flour and egg. That combination creates a coating. You can, and should, cut it while its fresh, because the chemical compounds are still binding. After its been boxed, shipped, and delivered? Hell no. Keep it together, add salt to the boiling water. That helps combine whatever ingredients you like to be soaked up by the pasta, because it still has most of the starch. If most of the starch is gone, that pasta wont soak up anything. Ever taste bland spaghetti? It sucks.
