I get the rationale . . . Josh Allen did what he did without the supporting cast of Lamar Jackson. Pleasantly surprised voters made that distinction. Would have been OK with either though.
Surprised Josh Allen won MVP over Lamar Jackson. With same panel of voters, All-Pro QB has been pretty much a rubber stamp to MVP. Don't hate the choice, but surprised it deviated from the norm.

Love seeing Eric Allen in @profootballhof . . . was well on his way to Defensive Player of the Year in first year with Raiders in 1998 until he blew out his knee . . .

Hate to break it to the networks that are pretending the MVP hasn't been decided, but it's Lamar Jackson. He got 30 votes to 18 for Josh Allen for All-Pro. The same panel votes for MVP. Check All-Pro/MVP year by year. It's the same QB.
