I met

in 1987 when she played at the Santa Fe Celebrity Ski Classic. A cherished friendship was born and 34 years later, I still marvel at her gorgeous voice and songs. Dan and I loved seeing Karla and Nina Gerber in concert last night and having a sweet reunion ❤

is organizing this Gofundme to help a family who escaped Afghanistan. Rick's a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer who covered the war there, and this was one of his translators...the family escaped with nothing. Thankful for the angels out there like Rick.
