Today is New Yearās Eve and there is much to celebrate with the conclusion and survival of another year, especially in San Francisco. This day also marks the 4-year loss of a precious and innocent life, Hanako Abeāthe daughter of @Cjr4fyYVSRSkeqU. Her life was taken by a parolee who was hellbent on defying our lax laws and system of enforcement among other things. This tragedy was also a spark and pillar for the Recall of Chesa Boudin. The Recall was ultimately successful and so was the recent passage of Prop 36 this year. Although this will hopefully move justice in the right direction to promote safer communities, it will not bring Hana back. Mrs. Abe spoke about justice and accountability on all ends during the public memorial posted here. Outside of @BrookeJenkinsSFās campaign for the Recall and for DA of which she successfully achieved, Iād personally like to know how justice is going for the Abe familyās case (and others like her)? After all, bringing them justice was among the primary promises she campaigned on and was elected for.

At the Linkage Center protest, this š§š¾exited but seemed to leave his mind behind. He then tried to scale the fence which attracted HealthRight360 staff, security & SFPD. He demanded/challenged staff to use ādeescalationā tactics. When they failed, SFPD intervened & ended it.

Your colleague @TaraABC7 featured her back in Aug 2023 to cover her Narcan education and distribution campaign. She missed her legislative contribution to Alexandraās Law. With the Bay Area being inundated by fentanyl use and deaths; the epicenter of fentanyl supply and demand, I think Michelle deserves a spotlight in your next episode.

What say you, @RafaelMandelman? @BrookeJenkinsSF @DanielLurie The teens and other children this perpetrator has preyed on donāt live in/around Union Square but I think they deserve equal if not more protection than what the newly established SFPD Hospitality Task Force will be providing the merchants and visitors downtown, eh?

The teen girls saw this greasy mofo masturbating for over a year before they told their parents. Supervisor Rafael Mandelman had seen him in his neighborhood, thought he was "just another naked guy". But yet, records show he's been charged MULTIPLE times for the same felony crimes going back 10+ years. This is a MASSIVE failure to protect kids in San Francisco.
