If I decide from now on I want to be recognised as a woman and break all the WOMENS british sprint records, is that fair 🤷🏽♂️
Living in ridiculous times 😂.
So far I’m a bigot, transphobic, disgusting, uneducated and ohh racist 😂😂😂 amongst few other things 🤷🏽♂️.
That’s what you get for speaking up for women in sport.
Now is the time for people to start standing up and not allow these damaging and dividing ideologies to be pushed anymore.
Especially the people with a strong platform and influence, your silence is deafening.
I don’t understand your question mate, you’ll have to be more specific.
If you mean would I tell a trans woman they shouldn’t compete against biological women in sport because they have a biological advantage, the yes.
Never thoughtless, I stand by that.
A person who is well aware that they have and unfair biological advantage due to their sex, and take pleasure in competing against women is a weasel.
Tomorrow I step back onto the track for my first race back, after being out for two and a half years.
The journey is not complete yet as my goal is the 2020 Olympic Games, still not 100% but I NEED to feel the heat of being plunged straight back into the fire whatever happens 🔥
@brucecoggins
Could take all the testosterone suppression medication in the world, I’m still going to have a far superior advantage over biologically BORN women.
It’s not about the communities, and holding them back.
It’s about the mindset of a biological male competing against a biological female, and trying to take glory like the playing field is fair.
In my opinion, that kind of person is a weasel.
@WillGrimsey
Well said Will. There's simply no need for vile words or attitudes when discussing a sensitive subject regarding two communities of people that have long been held back. You don't find the right answer through discrimination.
These are the kinds of people that make people not speak out about the facts, they are so fast to throw out abuse using words such as transphobic or calling people disgusting, just because the facts don’t align the their own agenda.
Very sad
@Jellington100m
Just how many trans women have won Olympic or Worlds medals ever? How many currently hold world records?
Trans athletes have been allowed to compete for years with no dominance at all, get your transphobia out of here! Disgusting individual.
Mate say my name with your chest held high, and read what I’m saying properly.
You would also be classed as a weasel in my opinion, for deliberately misrepresenting what I’m saying.
Apparently according to some athletes the way to make your argument regarding trans women, is to call them “weasels”. Which is ok, because people are upset.
Making a valid and even, educated argument, I’d just stick to facts to disprove/prove, rather than justifying name calling.
Yo
@BritAthletics
it would of been lovely if you guys mentioned my return to the track a couple of weeks ago.
The whole world supported and celebrated, apart from my own NGB.
Blood sweat and tears to represent you guys for 6 years straight and not a word.
We’re just commodities.
No excuse.
I am still on anti doping whereabouts, still fill in my whereabouts and still get tested and I’ve been out since 2017 Kmt. I currently have No sponsors no team and no income from this sport.
He’s got no excuse, BIG sponsors , Professional team and big money.
@WillGrimsey
And the great thing about this is, you are an athlete that I might bump into in REAL life, so if that does happen, we can have a discussion about it and my vile opinions ok 👍🏽
Oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii kendiaknswjnwbaoakwnsnsjkwwknajakakwkw.
First time back in blocks today and I felt smooth and powerful 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽.
When you truly believe in yourself you can achieve pretty…
Beer belly, coke sniffing, woman beating, unhygienic non hand washing, small hood insecure WASTE men, don’t even deserve to associate themselves with hard working good fans or sportsmen or women, and think they are part of any England team or movement
I got splattered in a road traffic accident jan 2017, as I was coming into the best form of my life in a new event.
You think I could lay down and surrender to this 🤣😂🤣😂 I got unfinished business.
I’m happy and grateful I’m alive and where I’ve got to, BUT it’s all or nothing for me, when I come back, it’s to carry on where I left off in 2016 and put the icing on the cake.
So if it’s possible I WILL DO IT.
I can’t believe Trans women competing against biological women is even a conversation if it was so important for it to happen we would also be talking about trans men getting to compete against biological men but that doesn’t make sense does it! I mean do we really live in a 1/2
2017 has been the craziest year of my life, but I can count my blessings that I made it through.
I thank everyone for their support and let’s have a better 2018, the journey continues......
Sometimes in life you just have to let certain people go, it’s not that you don’t love or care for them, but their ways are ones that are damaging for you and themselves.
Surround yourself with good energies and love.
Thanks for all the kind messages people, The race was a pile of 💩.
But on the positive I understand where I’ve come back from, I just know there is a lot more in the tank, and my mind is a bit twisted, so I will keep chopping it down thanks💫💫💫
Athletes need to wake up and realise that these sports companies do not care about you, you are a billboard and once you have no use, you will be cast aside.
Happy for Zharnel man, well deserved.
I remember when he was injured at 2016 british champs and Santa clause didn’t wanna know him.
Bet he’s all over him now 🤣😂🤣 big up
@zharnel_hughes
@LongJumpChris
Bro 🤣 you know most of these athletes ain’t gonna say nothing.
They won’t even refuse a moneyless kit deal because of image.
How they gonna stand up for others if they don’t even stand up for themselves being exploited .
Honoured to receive this award, and it has extra special meaning being in the name of Vikki Orvice , thanks soo much for all who voted, it means a lot 💫💫💫
The final honour handed out at today’s
@BAWA_Athletics
lunch was the Vikki Orvice Inspiration Award, re-named in honour of The Sun’s much-respected correspondent who sadly died this year. It was won by
@Jellington100m
for his battle back from serious motorbike crash injuries.
