I'm hugely honoured to win the @rorypecktrust Sony Impact award. I wanted to use this platform to highlight the devastating price Palestinian journalists are paying in order to report on Israel's indiscriminate bombardment of Gaza. Since Oct 7th, 37 of them have been killed.

“Cancer became just like a flu…”. Ali, a young man from Iraq who lived on a @bp_plc oil field, died of leukaemia last Friday. His father challenged BP at its AGM, demanding an end to its cancer-causing pollution.
