This was reflected in a recent WhatsApp chain with #aapi I’ve been on with friends asking for specifics on pepper spray recommendations for their mothers, sisters, daughters, cousins, aunties, and grandmothers. #StopAsianHate
Look at this line, mostly of Asian women & the elderly…….just to get some pepperspray in Chinatown NYC. Says a lot about how frightened & on edge our #AAPI community is right now 💔.

More states are pushing to require public schools to include teaching about the history of Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPI). New Jersey and Illinois now require AAPI studies & other states like Florida are considering similar bills. @KIRO7Seattle
