Thank you for having me yet again to discuss all things agitation. Paramedics are uniquely positioned to be the ones that reduce mortality in hyperactive delerium.

@Q9051995 @DRPS Which you can do yourself with a seatbelt. Maybe think through it a bit before caps lock.

Regardless of peoples views on safe consumption centres, the fact that the doors will shutter on needle exchange programs as well will only increase healthcare costs. *One* case of HIV costs taxpayers 200-300k, and one case of HCV 40k. Doug what are you doing?

@DineshDSouza To see the crowd in the plane reflection they'd have to be essentially underneath the plane or at least very close to it. Which they wouldn't be allowed to be for security reasons. I'm sorry you don't understand how light and reflections work.

Update: Board chair of @curlingcanada contacted me to advise they did offer NA beer at the "Patch" in Regina and are looking to expand further. Thank you for embracing this industry for sober, sober curious, and health conscious Canadians.

@Glenn_Cashman @CTVKitchener Uhhhh, yup. There's two types of drowning, fatal and non-fatal. This is not that hard.

@WalterHodgson10 @HumanFact0rz Uhm. We do. Managed alcohol programs have existed since the 90s in a wide variety of cities around Ontario. They stop people from drinking things like hand sanitizer and dying from seizures until they're ready to enter detox programs.

@DocWithBowtie Nice to see he's filming this on company time clearly at a station / training centre. I'm thinking the employer doesn't share the same views lol.

It's well researched that bringing paramedic care out of the cold zone and closer to the patient / at time of injury results in decreased morbidity & mortality. Looking forward to this refreshed team. Thanks to Chief Riches and @Chief_MCrowell for moving this forward.

Quality improvement in EMS... In reverse. Queensland Ambulance Service endeavours to "investigate" compliments with as much gusto as they do the complaints. A good way to show your people how your top performers do things. Bravo QAS!
