I am always honoured to get a mention in Hansard. Thanks @gareth_snell, let's hope we can get on and make more of the Spode site a success sooner rather than later and can show people what these otherwise derelict buildings can really unlock for the local economy!

Stoke's Createch Cluster should be well placed to benefit from this initiative but it also needs more action locally to support & grow via initiatives like the LU funded Spode Masterplan. But until this gets off paper & into buildings & businesses, opportunities will keep passing by.

This building isn't much more than 20 years old and obsolete. We are just finishing refurbishing a 250 year old one that we can see is its 6th regen. "A" EPC rated and around 40% of the cost of big box new build like the Goods Yard! Probably a fraction of the build carbon footprint! Just sayin! via @withemes

When Newcastle council sit down this week to consider it's scheme to build a new Hotel they should take a look over at Hanley to see how Stoke are getting on with the new Hilton. £2.3m losses to 2023. In 24 it needed an extra SoT Council cash injection.... @SimonTagg

A lot of these jobs and the key management will likely be out of city/wfh- nearer the station will likely be the better option. A recent asset management report showed civic centre use at 23% due to the post pandemic WfH boom. Rationalising HO & council there would save huge £!

Great to see @gareth_snell promoting the potential of the Creative Industries in Stoke. Many of these business are in and around Spode & Stoke Town. Many more will come when (if) the Council move forward with the spode masterplan. @CllrAshworth
