Davis broke his jaw in week 15. But if you remember teams were throwing to the running backs and tight ends after Alex went out because the lions were down to only 1 of their top five linebackers and were starting guys off the street at linebacker and in the defensive line. Before thanksgiving no QB threw for more than one touchdown. Go look at their passing numbers total before Alex went out for 6 weeks. Also Arnold played really well for a rookie playing the most amount of man coverage in the league.
