The Landlord Confessional My name is Jeff Thompson, I’ve been working in CRE for nearly 15 years, and I thought it was time for someone to start sharing the honest truth about being a commercial landlord. There’s thousands of internet gurus out there telling you that buying real estate is the easiest path to wealth. Well that path isn’t always smooth nor straight. I’m going to use this new series to give you guys my raw thoughts on what it’s like to manage/own multi-million dollar real estate properties. The good the bad and the dirty. I’m not holding back on sharing some broker truth bombs (sorry guys), unfortunate stories of when things go wrong on site, and tips on how to make it go right. Over the years I’ve worked on retail, industrial, multi-family, and office so the hope is you’ll find something relevant to a project you’re working on. Just my luck, caught the stomach flu my daughter brought home yesterday. Been very sick 🤮 last few hours. I guess I truly know what the real Super Bowl flu is!

@warehouse_bear Sure did! Got your call. Sorry I couldn’t answer. Would say I am going to call you tomorrow but I literally just got a wicked stomach flu 🤮 All that yummy Super Bowl eats coming back to haunt me🤦♂️ Will see how I feel in the morning.
