lasting 90 minutes Haaland feels safest and hard to back against him getting a return, but I don't see a big score. Palmer has the best fixture and the likeliest to return a double digit score. Foden is similar to Haaland in I see a low scoring City win. I'm choosing Palmer.

Looking at a free hit in GW29, the biggest fear is a low scoring week. But will this be the case, especially with so many goals this season? With the current fixtures, a popular team will be: Flekken Pinnock Torres Moreno Son Bowen Richarlison Maddison Kudos Watkins Toney Cont.

@AdamButBetter1 @FPL_Jammer He was noticeably taking up great positions in the middle of the box when Liverpool attacked when he came on against Palace. If he had come back one week earlier, would be a no brainer. Now, it feels like a gamble, but one I like!

injured players back which should help the team structure and creativity *Tough fixtures, but could suit Son and highly motivated to both beat Arsenal and finish 4th I'm 60/40 in favour of Son so he is my pick, mainly as I think he has a better chance of returning in both games.

@fplgrumpyman @fpl_nez Same. I kind of want to see the same in that Jota gets 30 minutes and looks sharp. But, would it be better to see him get 60 minutes so we know he is ready to start games again?

2 players ended up with a negative points total for the season, despite neither playing a single minute of football. Both Bettinelli and Rodák were booked whilst on the subs bench.

decent points could be on offer. A 50 point week might be possible and if other teams are scrambling for 5/6 players, the gains could be big. Added to which, transfers in the meantime can attack fixtures from 26-28, particularly the strong Bournemouth double.

@Velinter_FPL Was he 4.0 that season? I'm sure I had some decent points off of him too. Matip still haunts me to this day - his double GW37 goal took my mini league rival ahead of me, and he ended up pipping me to the title by a couple of points.

@FPLGOAT7 @FPL_TT A lot of people including myself think Darwin will start one of the two fixtures, and be benched for the other. Same could be said for Diaz. That means a great chance of one start for Jota. The high upside of potentially 90-100 minutes across two fixtures could be enough for me.

@LetsTalk_FPL @SalomonYaniv I won't consider wildcard 26 for the same reason. But this lead me to seriously look at free hit 29. Can really attack the fixtures after 25 and the upside through to wildcard in 31 is potentially worth it.

I am liking the idea of free hitting in 29. My current squad only has 3 players with a guaranteed fixture. One obvious downside is the lack of fixtures and the possibility of a low scoring week. But, the potential to score well is there with regular high scoring FPL attacking

@FPL_Regista The match between them both is too close to call but I think Spurs are the better team so Son edges that for me. Palmer is captain sensible based on everything we have seen recently, but I'm banking on the trend changing. Maybe it's too much to expect based on recent weeks.

@FPLMahdi Burn, Krafth, Livramento. I need a Schar replacement and already have Burn so considering a straight Newcastle swap. When Trippier returns, will Hall or Livramento share game time? Krafth feels nailed so think he edges those two.

@FPLTornado @FPLJoelinton Eze in for Son looks great. The second is tough for your team! Does shout Darwin in for Haaland. Ignoring our past pain, still a good option. Even one start and one off the bench I prefer to Cunha's fixtures. I don't like the keeper change unless you think Liverpool will clean.

Is 5 in midfield the way forward for non free-hitters in GW34 who are on wildcard in GW35? #FPL Not losing value in players seems to be the biggest negative, but do we need that money after wildcard? A midfield 5 of Salah, Saka, Eze, Diaz & Havertz/Olise feels stronger than...

@FPL_AWC I like the idea of this if it works for your team. I feel like a lot of teams will miss out on points from 26-29 making the same moves to cover blank 29. The gains are there to be had! Famous last words but this season is more predictable so the early wildcard risks are less.

@FPL_Bateman @dis_fpl Everyone is different and that is why I think it is important we play our own game and find what works for us. I get where you're coming from, I've always found the most fun seasons have been where I've chased and then won my mini league, rather than leading all the way.

@FPL_Regista Great breakdown of all this! Arsenal's defence has been incredible, no doubt about it. I'm going against the stats and looking at the occasion of it being a derby, a huge game for both teams, and predicting goals. I also see Villa beating Chelsea in a low scoring match.
