Thank you to coach McCaffery and his staff for giving our team the opportunity to come play at Carver! It was a special night for many reasons and I am proud of the way our guys battled. Good luck to the Hawkeyes this season and it was great to see a lot of familiar faces!

My daughter is playing 7-8 year old softball. It’s been going on for about 3 weeks now. I really struggle to watch and see parents yell at their kids, get upset about mistakes, and are just plain rude in the stands. My hope is she keeps having fun! Thank you to her coaches!

I played in this game, if this series ended in any sport there would be an uproar by the alumni and current athletes. Both schools play crappy opponents every year in every sport. For fans saying it’s a lose lose for Iowa, that’s ignorant. Both schools compete at a high level.

4 years ago today we were lucky and grateful to bring my son home from the NICU. Tonight, after celebrating, he split his chin open and got 4 stitches for his 4th birthday! Just like his dad 😂 Happy Birthday Bowen!

A kid is a qualifier out of high school. He goes juco for a year, but doesn’t take math, science, English at the juco, but passes 34 credits. This kid is eligible for D1, but not for D2. This might possibly be the worst rule I have ever heard of. Kids, be aware of this rule!
